Islam in Predominant Christian Countries

March 31, 2013

Islam in Predominant Christian Countries

During the last twenty years or so Islam has been making inroads into predominant Christian countries, especially in Southern Africa, such as Angola, Swaziland, and Namibia, which hadn’t had any Muslim population before that.

This research project is trying to examine the short history of Islam in Muslims in these countries, the reaction of the Christian population to the Muslim newcomers, and the involvement of Islamic Da’wah and charitable organizations in the spread of Islam in these countries.

This research project is also focusing on the spread of Islam and the relationships between Muslims and Christians in other predominant Christian countries, such as Zimbabwe, Zambia, Zaire, and Cape Verde.
